Diversity and Incluivity
At Insight EMEA we are privileged to operate within a diverse, multicultural workforce, with offices spanning across the continent. This means that we benefit from working amongst Teammates with a wide range of different ages, races, religions, orientations, abilities, genders, personalities, and experiences.
With our ongoing commitment to embracing this diversity, we have volunteers across our EMEA business that form our working taskforce group. The focus of this group is to discuss topics linked to how we can celebrate our differences and make Insight EMEA even more inclusive.
Of course, our values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony and agile working environment drive an already inclusive culture of collaboration supported by different perspectives and celebrated uniqueness at every level within our organisation. To support our commitment to inclusion we were proud to sign up to be part of the ‘Disability Confident’ initiative within the UK and are continuing to work through the 3 levels to become a Disability Confident Leader.
Mental Health
At Insight mental health matters and we are committed to promoting mental wellbeing and creating and open and supportive culture. Our Wellness Programme includes aspects of supporting Mental Wellness throughout the year. This is in addition to our ‘Mental Wellness Peer support’ network which covers all UK offices. The Peer volunteers are trained in taking time out listen to teammates who are going through difficult times and sign posting them in the right direction should they require any extra support. The support has been positively acknowledged by teammates through our employee surveys. spotlight of a teammate – read from Peer support Jenni Ings

Community

We support a charity at each office location by coordinating volunteering days, organising raffles and connecting teammates with fundraising opportunities and activities outside of work. Inside work our charity and social team organise fun activities like our Christmas party, Easter & Christmas markets, seasonal BBQs and pub quizzes.
STEM Outreach
At Insight we are passionate about technology and how it can enhance people’s lives, therefore we encourage our teammates to volunteer to inspire the next generation of technologists and engineers. Any of our teammates are welcome to register as "“STEM Ambassadors” who can then choose which science, technology, engineering or maths-based activities to support students or teachers with.
To date, Insight’s STEM Ambassadors have been involved with careers events, mock interviews, coding ‘hackathons’ and work experiences programmes. Insight is also been involved with some longer term STEM partnerships which include:
University Academy 92 (UA92):
With advancements in digital technology developing at a rapid pace, we acknowledge the digital skills gap and the opportunities it presents. Partnering with UA92, we are helping the academy shape a new-age curriculum, placing a greater focus on digital upskilling and talent development to accelerate young people’s careers.
Giraffe Learning:
Through our partnership with Giraffe Learning, an organisation that acts as a bridge between education and the corporate world, we are working with a number of local schools to provide guidance, support and advice to improve school leavers’ employability. This helps us to better understand the needs and aspirations of the future workforce by giving young people, from all walks of life, the confidence and skills required to pursue a career in technology.
Together Trust:
Working closely with Together Trust, a charity that offers care, support and special education to children, adults and families, we support individuals with learning and physical disabilities by offering work experience to increase their employability and future career opportunities.
