In our continued commitment to building a diverse and inclusive team, we’re gratified to learn Insight has been recognized for a fourth year in a row by Forbes as one of the America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2024. Out of the 500 employers recognized, Insight ranks No. 298 overall — No. 23 among IT companies.
This year, Statista and Forbes conducted an anonymous survey of over 170,000 US workers at companies with at least 1,000 employees. The survey assessed the companies' treatment of employees based on age, gender, ethnicity, disability, and sexual orientation, as well as organizational diversity policies and practices.
At Insight, we recognize that our people are our greatest strength, and we prioritize creating a positive work environment where diverse perspectives are valued. And I’m confident our teammates feel comfortable expressing their ideas and opinions without fear of bias.
We believe this leads to more creative and innovative solutions for our equally diverse client base. Respected awards like this from Forbes validate our focus on leading with heart.

The report highlights our progress towards fulfilling our longstanding commitment to the UN Global Compact and improving the social and sustainability aspects of what we do. This includes empowering our diverse workforce, supporting local communities, using technology to drive meaningful change, and helping clients operate more efficiently to have a lighter impact on the environment.
Insight promotes diversity at all levels, starting with our corporate officers, half of whom are women, and a board that is 40% female. Here are a few more examples that make coming to work so exciting at Insight:
- More than 2,250 teammates actively participate in 11 diverse resource groups globally.
- We have enhanced our teammate benefits and wellness practices to include more support for expectant and new parents, as well as increased access to mental health resources.
- We actively support diversity groups like the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Women in Cloud, Women Executives Channel Advisory Network, Athena International, Out & Equal, Technology Community for Racial Equality, National Minority Supplier Development Council, Girls Who Code, and Disability:IN.
- In 2023, Insight invested nearly $711 million in our Supplier Diversity Program, supporting nearly 2,400 small and/or diverse suppliers.
- We give our teammates two Heart Days per year to focus on personal health and wellbeing or charitable efforts within their community.
Above all, we use technology to help our clients achieve their goals and grow their businesses. We don't just see our solutions as tools — but as ways to make things happen. We work hard to deliver results fast, while always putting people first and building long-lasting relationships in the process. Jen took to the skies to find her passion in human resources and leadership. She is a leader in Insight’s philanthropic endeavors, including the Reach program, whose mission is to connect children with technology through in-market giving to the communities in which Insight operates. Under Jen’s tenure, Insight founded the In It Together Foundation, which serves teammates in times of crisis and is jointly funded by teammates and Insight. Also under Jen’s leadership, Insight has been listed several times on the Phoenix Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and was awarded a spot on the Fortune 100 Best Workplaces for Diversity in 2018 and 2019.
